Default Audi Instrument Clusters - BAD JUJU

'01 Audi
TT Coupe
64K

Has anyone had issues with their instrument cluster? False readings, gas gauge not reading correctly, temperature gauge fluctuating wildly...

Check this out: http://tinyurl.com/kf2rb

Audi UK admits that the clusters were defective by design and will replace them free of charge. If US cars are also affected should we not be demanding similar compensation?

We all paid for the design and development costs the first time we bought the car.

Let's show Audi USA this is not acceptable.

Check this out as well: http://www.classcounsel.com/news/audi.html

Default I think those of us who've reported this issue have in fact had them replaced by Audi under warranty

I did.

Two! You needed two replacements of instrument clusters?? Don't you think that is odd?

It seems like this is a common issue and I'll let you know what Audi does for me.

Sorry. I had CPO, so it wasn't an issue for me. And the dealer was nice about it.
