Default audi tt front end removal

my mk1 225 tt has a coolant leak, so since its 21 years old, figured i'd go in and change out all the coolant hoses. from what i saw online its easier to do if i take the whole front end off (not just the bumper). so i started doing this. however, what i failed to do is discharge my AC system before i started disassembly (was thinking coolant system, not that i'd be touching the AC). is it possible to take the front end off without discharging the AC? or am i going to need to reassemble everything, get the system discharged and start over? I'm debating doing the intercooler pipes and things like that while I'm in there, so figured it'd be easier with the frontend off.

As far as I know you can just remove the front bumper and access everything. No need to touch the AC system.

I just did a coolant flush, and aluminum conectors for the hoses. Didn't remove the bumper for it, but did have it in jack stands. I deleted the AC a while a do though. 🤷‍♂️

I’ve never changed ALL the hoses but as far as I know there is no reason to remove the front bumper and bulkhead. TT does not have a service position like the A4. It is tight accessing the thermostat housing but it is doable. Most everything else is on the transmission end of the block and head. Radiator hoses are open and accessible. Boost hoses at the intercoolers are a bit tight but also doable.
