Hi guys,

I have a TT mk1 and recently the window has stopped working.
At the time, I had a roofbox on the car and the buckles holding it down were on the top of the windows.

Does anyone know if there is any quick tip to reset the whole window (it does not work at all - not just the 'drop bit' when the door is opened).
I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery!
Or maybe someone knows of a diagnosis that I could go to the garage with?

Not sure if it's the same problem, but mine goes out every few months. I just take off the door panel, which is only one bolt, and then hit the metal piece on the motor repeatedly with a hammer until it works again. Presto! Works every time for either side.
