I bought an AUDI TT UV shield from a dealership, and it claims it fits perfectly but it doesn't The outline is a perfect fit, but the cut out for the mirror isn't big enough. I bought my TT used and maybe my mirror was moved? It looks as though I have to move my mirror about 2 inches higher or cut out a section from the UV shield about 2 inches lower

There is only one part number for this UV shield, so I was under the impression that it fits all TTs. Anyone else having the same problem? I am going to try it on another TT and see if the problem is on my car.

But aside from the mirror fitment, I don't think I can recommand this UV shield. The product feels really cheap for what you pay for ($43), and it does not even come with a case. It does not fold, you have to roll it up and velcro it at the end, which again, feels cheap.

If anyone can suggest any other alternative product, I'd appreciate it.

Ditto. Get them at Wal-Mart. I've used them on trucks and cars.
