Thanks for all your constructive input and concerns regarding my situation.<br>Check out Ivan's Post "Sad Day, 820 miles and electrical problems." What he describes is exactly what happened with my TT. I hope he has better luck then I did.<p>I was introducted by a mutual friend two weeks ago to a guy who owns a well regarded repair shop in Northern NJ, which specializes in German automobiles. My friend during the introdution mentioned that I had just received the new TT. This guy then stated " Oh, did you have any electrical problems yet ?"" According to him the wiring harness in the TT is similar (identical) to the new generation Bug, which according to him has resulted in several fires in early production models. <br>This sounds like more than a coincidence to me.
