Is Audi windshield UV protected ?

Hello all,

(Audi TT 2002 Quatro Coupe, USA)

What special features does the original Audi windshield has ? (I would like to compare it with after market windshields since mine has a large crack).

Is it UV protected ? Is it tinted ? Any other features ?

All windshields offer UV protection

Yes, tinted it is. Don't know about UV protection, that's extra even on a Bimmer.

If you go for an aftermarket windshield be careful of the 'E' rating at the lower left side (driver's side). The original has an E6 rating for stiffness while many aftermarket ones are E20s (not as robust).
