I would think most would agree the TT is a better value, it is little funny that this would be the determining factor in a test of two...well...let's call them performance cars.
Surprised that they slammed the Boxter for it's brakes, too.

No chance for the AUDI. Ten HP depends stronger and 240 Kilos lighter Porsche clearly it. Who wants the sportier car, must the Boxster buy. Presupposed, he grew not too largely. Up to 1.85 meters guard measure is everything okay. Over it it becomes close in the Porsche. The TT offers the airier Ambiente. But but the Boxster has the nose with the baggage compartment volume again in front. 260 litres swallow its both trunks in front and in the back - a record value for open two-seater, which ennobles it also to the rice haven car. In addition it shines with a thoroughly solid radiant emittance. Even the beverage owner, which gentleman-drives out elegantly from the center console, seems built for the eternity.
Result of AUTO picture editor Joerg Maltzan does pain: In the sports car comparison the sportier car loses. Why? Because it is more expensive and with brakes, equipment (among other things air conditioning system surcharge) and security (no brake assistant, no ASR, ESP and xenon light surcharge) patzt. If it concerns however pure dynamics, directness and turning joy, the Porsche is the better choice. In the bordering and high-speed range the Boxster of everything can do one ticks better. But is not enough to the total victory. Its projection/lead is too thin, in the cost chapter plays trumps the AUDI powerfully. The TT is not only in the acquisition, also maintenance costs and the extensive standard makes it cheaper a good purchase. There only the request remains: Wake up, to Porsche - improve please!
