As I wrote yesterday, my Autobond clear bra was installed yesterday. My hat is off to my installer, Pierre Richard. He did a perfect, and I mean perfect job. I thoroughly went over the entire front of the car. There was not a wrinkle, bubble or imperfection of any kind to be seen. I am very, very pleased.

This kit is very good as well, but not as perfect as the installation. There is a gap in coverage underneath the headlights of approximately 3/8". Because the installation was so good, this gap is perfectly symetrical for both headlights. But it is still there. Also, this kit did not cover the entire headlight area. Pierre said the old style kit did, and he called Autobond to complain during my installation. They will forward him the headlight kit and he has offered to reinstall it ASAP.

The Bottom Line: The installer is key! He/she will make or break your finished results. Make sure you use someone who has plenty of prior experience, because it will show. Good luck.

Where was this guy located again? I am scheduled for vacation time coming up in early september, and I'm seriously basing my decision on where to go on the best place to get things done for my car that I can't have done locally. Chicagoland seems real, well, expensive at best (mostly unavailable) for clear bra installations, and I'd love to go to this guy to have it done, depending on location.<p><A HREF="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=5281"><IMG SRC="http://ninja.endinfosys.com/images/tt_sig.jpg" BORDER=0></A>
