Autocross
Just got back from running my car in a local autocross. This thing has lots of potential. With some stickier tires and possibly an H&R kit I would have destroyed the other cars in my class. Has anyone else run their TT in a solo event?

No, because that would void your warranty. :-)

Cool....
I wasn't aware you were competing at a national level. I am starting locally next month myself and I am really excited.
You have a web page with information on your stats thus far? You running stock in AS or are you modified? Couldn't see your sig.

Well, if you add H&R anything (unless they are shocks)
You will move from your class to another (STS or SM).. Your best bet is either kumhos dot legal racing tire ($130) and run your stock class.. Ask TTopGun, he'll tell you whats best..

The submarine's battle record...
The submarine is a G-Stock 180 HP, with about $80 in total mods other than tires.
Me:
- Last place, 2000 Fort Myers ProSolo (street tires, week-old car)
- Missed trophies by 0.185 seconds, 2000 Petersburg ProSolo
- Should have stayed at home, 2000 Harrisburg ProSolo
- 7th place (on street tires), 2000 Meridian National Tour
- Fourth place trophy, 2000 Ayer National Tour
- 28th place (out of 46 drivers) at the 2000 National Championship.
- Missed trophies by 0.248 seconds, 2001 Fort Myers ProSolo
- 5th place (fastest non-Type-R), 2001 Meridian National Tour
Rich Wayne (ProSolo co-driver):
- 3rd place trophy, 2000 Harrisburg ProSolo
- WON G-Stock, 2001 Fort Myers ProSolo
Jean Kinser-Dana (2000 Nationals co-driver):
- Trophied in the open (men's) class, 2000 National Championship [while 5 months pregnant!] Only one of two women to trophy in an open class at the National Championship in 2000.
Oh, it does bear mentioning that the submarine will be in combat at the Petersburg, Virginia ProSolo the first weekend in May. Rich Wayne will be going for his second win (to clinch at least a 4-way tie going into the Championship finale). Y'all saw the submarine collecting dust at Fallingwater, and are cordially invited to come out and watch it kick up some dusTT (and kick some serious Type-R/Subaru WRX buTT) at Petersburg in a few weeks.....
