Default well it's a Porsche club calc. so probably assumes some different criteria.

3 lbs difference f/r is key though for pressures in the TT. Everything seems in balance.

Default Try 285/40's on the front and 225/45's on the rear of a TTQ ...

at something around .9 g. Check the tire pressures. Surprised? or not?

FWIW: The program appears to use tire load and relates that to load capacity of a given size tire. It has to assume some CG height, but among sporty cars that doesn't vary much from about 20-22 inches.

Default ROTFLMAO!!! I just keyed in REAL data for the submarine, and...

...it told me that I needed to be running 67/48 PSI!!! By real data, I mean the sustained lateral acceleration as measured by GEEZ, and the weights/ratios as measured by the SCCA's official event (corner-weight) scales when I got bored working in impound a few weeks ago. Well, let's just say that those are nowhere near the front pressures that I run.

So, my advice is that everyone treat this [stupid] program like a fortune cookie. Read it, chuckle at what it says, and crumble it up. How can it calculate tire contact patch area when it never asks for the diameter?!?!? I won't even go into the cornering weight being applied to the outside tires being higher than the vehicle weight. Oh, they must mean cornering *force* or something, which any high school physics student should have caught.....
