Default I agree. Personally, I do not use the term and find it objectionable, but people are free to do/say

what they please. As I am free to label or classify them into "types" of people, based on their actions or words...

My point above is simply that I do not think Joel had any "unpleasant" intention in his post... that's all.

plus it implied something which wasn't intended. I'll argue that Joel's post was indeed the culturally sensitive one, because he merely pointed out that Japan had an Emporer, not a Kaiser. What's the bfd?
