Default Plastic model glue worked for me. The cracking and rattling are gone for weeks now.

Default Nutbunny comment: the vast majority of my noise was coming from

the area where the clips enter the frame. That's the only area I pryed apart and glued. Then, after that was dry, I goobered (new silicone application term) a ton in that particular area and have had not rattles since.
