Back from Bragg- Smith driving school. A very tiring but satisfying experience. Things that I've learned:
1. Picking out the correct driving line without an instructor in the car is a challenge. You're going to make major mistakes but you learn very quickly when you make them.
2. It's easier to follow then to lead.
3. You can recover from a tank slapper. You just need to practice in a safe environment.
4. When the instructor stepouts in front of your car, hit the F'n brakes.
I highly recommend this course to everyone- even if you're not track bound. It's not about driving the car fast, it's about the best way to control the car.
