Default A bad start to the day

Running late for work because the baby was up all night. Turn the key and ... nothing. S***!!!

Tried to push start - nothing. Damn that little car is heavy!
Tried to jump it - nothing.

Now a call into Audi Roadside assistance and they are dispatching a towtruck to my home.

I did have a message "FUSE 6241" dimly on my instrument panel for a bit. Can't put my hand on my manual this second (must be at the office). Anyone care to educate me?

Thx.

I just searched the entire DTC code list - no mention of 6241

Default Could be a fusable link. pop the battery cover, then the black cover on top the cables. look at...

the distribution block to see if any of the links are broken where the thick red cables go in.

Tow truck just came and took 'er away. I'll call the dealership in a few minutes and see what they have to tell me.

Never had a single problem with the car until today. Very strange.

It's chilly, but certainly not terrible. I don't think it's weather related. I'm in southeastern VA. Temp is around 40 degrees.

Default Thanks for checking

I'm certain that's what the message was. As soon as I mentioned it to the roadside assistance people, they said they'd have to take it to the dealer.

Next time I'll get pictures! :-)

Will that damage the Haldex? I know it is bad news for the Torsen.
