Default battery drain related to failing cluster? ... discuss

becauseI have my fears ;-(

and I am now out of warranty - will this be expensive?

My cluster started acting up just before my battery failed. New cell cured it. If it is the cluster you're bent over to the tune of $700 plus labor!

Default Digital VOM....>

To check the draw. Blackfntruck did a post on this recently...normal draw is 18 miliamps...
If higher, start pulling Cluster fuses and see if it drops..

Default Don't forget that they can be rebuilt now. BBA reman in Ma. rebuilds them for $250, you just have

to be able to not have a cluster for 2 weeks... PoTT had his done recently, cluster works fine now. Luckily he has a daily driver other than his TT...
