Default Battery swap...How do I get the old one out??

disconnected the piggyback on top of the stock battery..but it doesn't want to come out. I can see that down on the bottom(front side) there is a bolt that looks like it's holding a plate that discourages battery removal. How do I get it out??? Here's my tools...
1)hammer
2)screwdrivewrs(3)
3)pliers
4)small socket set
5) duct tape
Looks like the only way to get at the bolt with my limited tool set would be to take the entire nose off. HELP..my TT needs the juice baby!!

Default You need a 10mm or 12mm socket with a 12" extension on it for a ratchet

that will remove the bolt. Then battery will come out.

Sure, I think it is 10mm, but if you are buying a socket, get both.
