Default Battery voltage guide......>

I've had this gauge sitting on my desk for weeks now and figured I might as well post it as the issue comes up frequently. It's a precision Voltage gauge used on boats. The percent charge info is good and will reflect battery health. To determine true "resting" voltage, unhook you neg terminal from a fully charged battery, let set overnight, and test in the morning with a digital gauge. Temps should be in the 60-80 degree range for this to be an accurate assessment. Use the Wet cell scale (Optima's aren't true Gel cells BTW). Cooler temps=lower voltages. Audi's voltage spec is >12.5V. I'll post this in the FAQ..

Optimas aren't gel cell at all. They're spiral wound AGM batteries

Default Hey! Bellingham is near me. My dad's trawler was moored there.

Great place to get to the San Juans and Canada from without spending days to get there.

Default Sorry Steve...>>

I get barraged and I forgot.
I honestly don't think a TTDA wil fit. Even shortened. They are 8" across. I don't think they would flow very good with a side entrance either, which would be a whole nother engineering exercise to figure out...You need some plenum size.

Default what is Plenum Size? ;)

and I hear ya on the side bit but that's kind of what we have now. Right now there is a filer and it's surrounded by a shield. This sheild cover the bottom and front and has holes (large ones) drilled in the back (facing the wheel well)

I still say we should give it a shot - if anyone can the "ModShack" can
