Bay Area TT Gathering: Blackhawk Auto Museum, February 10

If it's the new year it must be time for another TT get-together, so how about a gathering at the Blackhawk Auto Museum?
I went to an event at Blackhawk in Danville last month, and thought that it might be a great place to meet for a small, Bay Area gathering. And with that in mind, I was able to secure the date of Sunday, February 10, at 10:30 am, for a docent-led tour. The tour will last approximately 1-1/2 hours. Admission is $8 per person, and this price will be discounted $2 if there are 15 or more in the group. The museum will also allow a maximum of 12 cars to park on the plaza for photographs. (I'm not promising a group portrait like Doug's at TT West, but I will bring my Sony and a tripod!)
We will also likely do lunch and a drive after the tour. A representative of the museum will be sending me a list of restaurants in the immediate vicinity (recommendations welcomed), and I'll let you know what our options within the next week. Ted (BigTT) has offered to help with a "re-con" of the nearby roads, so "stay tuned" for additional information on that, too.
Please let me know if you're interested in attending and if so, the number of people you'll be bringing. Feel free to contact me if you have any question or comments.

Chuck, I'm new here. Just got my TT 3 weeks ago. I have been to the Blackhawk before and it's always great. Please count me in for the 10th. It will be nice to talk with other TT drivers. I have a lot of questions. I live in Vacaville and if anyone is east of here maybe we can caravan.
Thanks
Bruce

. . . just kidding. Knowing Gina, you'll have a good time there, too. Plus, we wouldn't want to go up against a CubsTTer get-together. [smile]
Anyway, it would probably be about a 5 hour drive from the LA area . . at least the way I drive!
