Default best glue to use to reglue headlight housings?

i'm trying to make sure i get this mod right the first time, and i'm worried the existing glue is not going to be sufficient to get a proper seal around the headlight.

can someone recommend a specific product that i could use to reseal the headlights, and where to buy it from?

thanks!

Default The stuff they sell to glue eyelids on would probably work ;)

I think just about everyone that's done this mod just re-uses the glue. Have you taken your housings apart yet? The glue is pretty industrial.

It'll work OK, hint is to re-heat the adhesive a bit before you re-assemble, then use some clamps.

Default My experience with these was that there was more than enough glue...

There are 4 black clips that hold the clear lense to the back housing.I used some light clamps to get them close.(Nothing w/ too much pressure cause you don't want to damage the lense) I don't believe the headlights are airtight from the factory. Not a big deal if you can find some & it makes you feel better to have it.

Default i have taken them apart ...

just finishing up the last one now. reusing the glue just seems a bit ghetto to me, and if it doesn't work i'll have to pull the whole bumper off again to fix it, which is serious pain.

I can be a mess. It's a gel, comes out clear, takes a good 18-24 hrs to dry
