Default best place besides dealer to get a new MAF as a spare, etc? Car is acting quirky
at times and I'd like to rule out all issues one at a time.

Thats what the rebuilt ones are- a new sensor with a reused tube.

Also, Audi covered the cost of the MAF cause the warranty was extended to 7 years.
