Default Bibps... I am looking for the electrical connection for oil pressure

I am getting an electric version of the oil pressure guage. The unit comes with a sending unit, but it sure would be easier to just tap into the factory sender unit. Your thoughts?

Default Seriously Tom.....>>

You're going to need some fittings to make a "T" fitting at the OEM sender. You'll need to know the thread size and source the correct parts so you can plumb in the new sender. Based on your endless questions over the past few days on your gauge installs (No criticism intended), I think you need someone to help you with this. I'm not sure Forum help is enough. Just don't want to see you do any damage...

Default I would have to second Steve's advice. Years ago, on a small Japanese car, I tried the same thing..

I bought a std. "T" fitting at a hardware store, to add in a hard tubed oil pressure gauge.
It worked fine for about an hour, when the pressure in the engine literally exploded the "T" fitting, and I lost about 3 qts. of oil before I shut it down.

I never did it again.
