Does the addition of the Billsteins to the HR springs reduce or eliminate the bobbing caused because of under-damping with the stock shocks??
Do the Billsteins have any other advantages over stock shocks??
Posted this somewhere the other day but lost it-don't know if anybody responded. thanks

The bobbing is reduced with the Bilsteins. In addition, they are higher quality construction over the stock Monroe's. In my 180QC, I had my shocks leaking withing 10 months. This is unacceptable. I know that others have had this problem as well. The real problem here is that if you have the original, pre-recall suspension then the dealers will use this as an excuse to "force" you to do the recall.
I have been very happy with the Bilsteins. The ride is slightly harsher than stock because of the stiff springs, but the shocks do a good job of softening the bumps. I do not recommend only changing the springs. I did that on the 180QC and it made the ride almost unbearable.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
