Default blinking EPC light = cooked EPROMS. DasTT was correct...it was my EPROMs

that were on the way out. it finally took its toll last night. perfect, Sunday with nothing open...cell phone battery about to go and no pay phones in sight. used the last few electrodes in my cell phone to call AAA. i can now join the ranks of the flaTTbed fellows. towed to KMD...and this morning, the consensus is a cooked ECU. blinking EPROMs is one of the symptoms. I mentioned this to Danny a week ago...couldn't figure it out...although DasTT was right on target with it.

now, i've got to wait to get a new ECU with immobilizer swap chip and see what happens. might have to get flaTTbed to the dealer if immobilizer doesn't recognize the car. we'll see by wednesday.
