Default blown struts(kinda long)

Hi guys, need some advice. I just had a whole new suspension installed about a month ago (i.e. all struts koni's adjustable, springs H&R's, and h&r front and rear anti sway bars). Today, I was told that my rear drivers side strut was blown. I guess my question is,1. Wow often does that happen? 2.What what is the possibility that koni will replace the strut under warranty? 3. Quality wise, how good are koni struts overall? Thank you guys in advance

Default Rare occurence...>>

It just doesn't happen on street driven cars. I believe Koni has a lifetime warranty so getting this replaced should be a no brainer..
Koni's are generally an excellent shock.

I had a Koni coilover fail, and they were incredible about replacing it.

Default I had a similar thing happen...

I had a rear shock that was bad before it ever came out of the box it was shipped in. I sent it back to Koni, and they sent me a new one free of charge. No problem.

I find that the quality of my Konis has been pretty good, other than that initial incident. I've had them on for close to 25k now and they still feel great.

don't know what the local shop installed it with. but it's only that one strut. well, its in the shop right now. They said that they would take the strut out and send it back to koni. so I guess the waiting game is on. Thank you guys for the quick responses.

Thank you. I only drive my 05 tt to work and school and sometimes on the weekend. It only has about 15000 miles on it and it was never tracked or raced ever. So, hopefully I get nothing but good news from koni about the replacement of my strut. thank you again. As soon as I get pics of my car I will try to post it up soon.
