They'd probably say that it's different because it's a 180Q, but I really doubt there's an extra 6 hours involved... not to mention that my dealership also replaced my fuel tank and had to find out what the real problem was. Sucks that your dealership is so ****ty though... my service writer's first question to me was "do you have a chip in the car? you need a new turbo and possibly a new engine, so what you might want to do is make sure your car is totally bone stock when it comes in for the work" Ironically enough, I wasn't chipped yet. However, after the work was done, I went to TTMW and chipped my car only to go to an autocross at the dealership shortly after... with all of the service guys watching.

his number is (954)755-7772. Tell him Emmy with the silver TT referred you. He does really good work and price is fair.
Btw, do you drive on Pines blvd every now and then?

no need to remove manifold...just remove subframe and dogbone and swing engine forward to make room...tie rope to loop at oil pan deck to front to hold engine forward...you could install it yourself in 20 hrs...
the install is relatively easy if you get our help and have good tools.
you'll also need these tools:
-good quality metric socket set
-3/8 nM torque wrench
-5mm allen 3/8 socket
-6mm allen 3/8 socket (metric allen socket set better from 4-12mm)
-10mm 12 point long combo wrench for driveshaft: snap-on quality (must be thin and very precisely cut)
-$11 ball joint tool (see my recent post)
you'll also need these parts:
-Ni Anti-Seize for Turbo Bolts
-turbo gasket ring to downpipe
-4 turbo factory washers/nuts to downpipe
-3 turbo factory bolts/nuts to manifold
-6 nuts/washers at downpipe to cats
-turbo gasket manifold
-liquid-wrench...leave on over night!!!before removing turbo nuts!!!!this will save immmense time...otherwise you may break a stud and have to remove the manifold!!!!!!!!!!sray from top the night before!!!
-gal coolant
-5 qts. mobil 1 oil/mann filter<ul><li><a href="http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1702185&postid=17973653">http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1702185&postid=17973653</a</li></ul>
