BM question: If the boost is peaking a little too high, whats best way to adjust BM down?>>
Its turn it down a quarter turn? or turn it down all the way and tune in gradually to a point just below where it is set now.
After a recent adjustment I noticed that boost peaks and holds a bit at 24PSI under load in 5th and 6th gear. I am using 92 octane.
Under acceleration there also is a slight slump or dip in boost/acceleration, before it picks up again into the upper third of the rev range. I suspect timing is being retarded. Therefore in fact he car ends up possibly slower. I could vagcom it of course but do not have the time to experiment right now. Obvious first step is to detune the BM a bit.thoughts?
