Default Body shop / paint expertise - Advice needed - a little long.

I had a accident in my TTR a couple of months ago and it went off to the body shop recommended by the dealer to get fixed up.

Crash was at slow speeds but damage was pretty bad, included: new hood, front left side panel, front bumper.

When I got the car back, there were some minor mechanicals: The Aliens were leaking and the auto touch on the windows and auto up/down when the door is opened/closed weren't working - both easily fixed.

Also, there was a paint match issue which concerned me and they took the car back to do some blend work on the drivers door.

The more I look at the car, the less happy I am with the match, and I think the body shop is prepared to take it back again.

QUESTION:- If they do more re-spray work or a total re-spray, is this a bad thing? I'm concerned that continual re-work, sanding, extra layers of paint etc will only make things worse? What's involved in a re-spray, will the car ever be the same?

Thanks
