I know that at stock the psi is 12. Then with the ECU upgrade it put you to close to around 16psi. I emailed some car shop guy and he was saying how that that would not be recommended on putting a boost controller on the car since there was already 16psi goin. HELP!!

so you would get the benefit of the ECU controlling fuel and timing, and the slightly reduced lag and amoother boost form the boost controller. You can control boost soikes with the boost controller. Seems that timing is pulled with boost spikes and you end up losing some low end power.

Most mods will respond better on a chipped car. I wouldn't increase boost levels unless you've got the fueling to go along with it...Most chip programs will accomodate boost beyond their spec...

like TTschwing mentioned, you want the fueling and timing advance from the chip for best performance, but the BC will react quicker than your N75 and help eliminate or reduce boost spiking. Boost sliking isn't good for power.
