Boost gauge finished. Needle doesn't move!

only I drilled a hole in the bottom back of the duct outlet to fish the nylon line through. If you just shove the vent pod and gauge into the opening the nylon line will kink due to being pressed against the duct outlet.
Also check your compression fitting on the back of the guage. Mine didn't move at first either. I tightend the fitting and wrapped the ends of the T connection with tie wraps just to be sure there was no leak like so:

up the nylon hose too tight...which will pinch it to the point where it will shut off completely. remove the connection at the back of the gauge and by the FPR and take a look just to make sure there is enough I.D. hose opened up and going into the gauge.

it comes on when the switch is turned on to any position. This allows the gauge light to dim with the rest of the cockpit lights. The only problem is that I can't tell you exactly which wires I used to splice into. I believe that I used the wires exiting the dimmer wheel, but I could be wrong. I did this many months ago as one of my first mods, and at my age I forget things.
