make sure you do whatever you want to the gadgett before installing gauges in the vents. i had planned on painting mine and now can't without a bunch of work because of the wiring from the back of the gauge. oops.

download the install pdf from awe tuning.
i also used the guide from https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1008458.phtml and used the same hole he used instead of the awe tuning way.

Do you have a list of what's needed? (i.e. does defi gauge come with enough hose, t-adaptor, mounting rings for the vent, etc...)
I might have to do this in the spring.
Thanks for your time.

gauge, t-fitting, more than enough tubing (almost enough for two installs), a bracket for mounting it to a ring, and a snap on trim ring with a marker. you will need to buy the vent ring adapter from TTschwing. the only other thing you'll need are some small zip ties, a round terminal for the ground wire, electircal tape, and silicone glue.
as for tools, you need a t25 torx bit (fuse area), flathead and phillips screwdrivers, wire strippers, 10mm wrench (grounding spot), tiny flathead (prying the vent apart), wire strippers, and i soldered the power wire to the light blue wire of the headlight switch.
enjoy!
