Default boost leak test

need a bit of advice with this i have made a DIY tester i have seen
which will be clamped onto the TIP hose

my question is that do i have to block off the PCV system
if so how do i do this on the 225 engine

only 2 weeks ago changed the PCV and all other hoses
anyway to do it without going back under manifold?

Default Squeeze it....>

The big black one leading off the turbo inlet pipe. Clamp off with Long needle nosed vice grips, or one of those hose clamp sets you can get at harbor freight for a few bucks..

great help
so its the pancake valve is it that needs to be clamped
i thought the PCV had to be blocked through the manifold (but im wrong)
cheers for the pic TTschwing makes it easier to explain .
this is a great forum guys im always on here but never post

lots of good ideas that make me spend $$$$$ lol

ive been searching the net for 1.8t boost leak tester DIY
i made one that goes into the TIP hose
ive seen others that go straight onto the turbo
same thing though
guna give it a try tommorow
fingers crossed i find a leak as im out of ideas as to what else it could be

stuck with the 17705 fault code (which alot of 1.8t's suffer with.
DV is fine tried the suction test(holding the nipple in) and is fine
i was going to change the DV line hose - which is 6mm if im right guys
and is that jus the inner diameter of the hose which is 6mm or inner and outer?
