would removing the resonator increase performance of the system? also would it cause a cel? fail an NYS inspection?

I don't know if it does anything for performance...but.....

Mine has been deleted and has an amazing sound....it does not cause a CEL....there's nothing back there to monitor anything. Mine also passes Missouri emissions with all my mods.
