Default Bose system and iPod mini.........

I have a 2002 TT with Bose system which I love. I also have an iPod Mini which I also love.

What is the "cost is (almost) not an issue" way to be able to play my iPod mini through my Bose system in the TT?

Also posted on Audio Forum.

Default about 275 unless you use an FM modulator which tend to suck most people use ICE Link

Most of the adaptors out there connect through the CD player connection thys losing that.

Default Oh yeah,,,I thought about using Ice Link myself but the white areas on the buttons on OEM radio keep

wearing off. DO others have that problem....I have the Jeff BIpes adaptor and change tracks by using the Ipod..

Default Here's my route..

ice>Link. Awesome stuff. Also, I have the mini cradle if you want it from me. All you would need is the "brains" that connect the cradle to the changer and or radio (whatever you prefer)

It is truly awesome. Best way to enjoy both the Bose and the iPod!

Default My radio buttons have the same problem, my dealer told me it was "normal" wear...

and they would replace it for $350. Really surprising that it would be considered normal wear when I only have 23k miles on my car. I haven't been too pleased with my warranty coverage.

https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1023162.phtml</a

Default My dealer replaced mine under warrenty here in fort worth already once but

starting to happen agian...Its not normal wear either due to using the ipod controls 95% of the time. Im thinking on next service to have them change once more..I would like to have the icelink but not if you have to use the buttons on radio to change

This should help, the most simple mod to do, well...except for attaching the "Modshack" sticker

Default Yea I have a 6 gig mini now but thinking the color screen and smallness of this one might

be more apealing to me...I would never use a 20 gig and only have about 550 songs on my 6 gig now..I like the black one too and think that will look better in the TT
