Brad,
Dual exhaust is not necessary and is optional, but they say the exhaust system will increase performance. Will need a new back panel to fit the exhaust.
Now I am not interested in making my 180Q look like a 225Q..........so is there really any point in have the dual exhaust system installed...ie will it make that much difference? (price TBA Monday).
I would have thought the chip alone should suffice.
Cheers
Giles

The advantage of dual mufflers is that you can lower backpressure without increasing noise. With a more free-flowing muffler and bigger hole, you get a louder note. But with two mufflers, each has to work less so you get less back pressure and less noise.
This is how I understand it, I could be wrong.

He is calling me back on Monday to advise costs etc - I don't think I will go for the dual exhaust though!
He says chipping is excellent for the 180. Also as long as you service with them during the 3 year warranty period - they guarantee the warranty.
They are of course an official Audi Dealership.
Will post more on Monday.

There are other folks here who are more qualified than I am to respond to that question.

I found them quite expensive.
Fitted a Projectzwo body kit and exhaust myself whole kit with exhaust was £1400 looks very subtle and is the best.
Also have a suplus Zender spoiler brand new and unpainted, want £125.00 pounds.

Giles,
You might want to check out a previous thread on the forum with regards to this.

I am assuming that you are talking to Paul Cannon at Aston Green.
If so, then a local company called Automotive Developments actually performs the chipping on behalf of Aston Green. If you take the car direct to them, they actually charge a lot less for the work, but your Audi warranty may be in question.
Check out their website (if you haven't already):

I plan on having my 225Q chipped after I've run it in and had the first service.
