Default Brake Dust on new brakes

Hi there,
Are new brakes (100miles) suppost to leave lots of brake dust on my shiny wheels?
I'm not braking that hard (least I don't think I am). If anyone out there has got some
suggestions as to which pads to use that would be great.

Default Ah, the Joys of Audi. Clean those wheels!

Well, they're not supposed to make dust like that, but Audi's OEM pads sure do!

Many folks replace theirs; Pagid, EBC and other brands have been used. Do a quick search and you'll find more than enough info on it. Cheers!

P.S. Seriously, clean the wheels--the dust can pit the finish.

Default Yup- that's what happens w/ stock pads.. I went with EBC's.. Huge difference in

brake dust... It's almost a non issue now.

These a very good performing brake pads too.

I believe others have gone w/ Mintex w/ good results too.

Or you can pretend your wheels have an "anthracite" finish and live in denial.

Thanks, but no. Spent a year in the Middle East; don't need that again.
