Default Brake pads question

I have a set of brake pads that I am putting up for sale. One of the potential buyers brought up some questions and I need some help to answer them since I am mechanically challenged. ;-P There are metal clips on the back of the front Pagid Orange pads. What are those clips for? Why are they not on the rear pads?

Also, from this illustration of the rear pad I got on the Pagid Racing website, what is the green coloured component? It's not included in the box of my rear pads.

Default looks like a retaining spring. keeps the pads in position while having some flex.

the other green thing is probably the rivet that holds it onto the pad.

Thanks. Is possible to reuse the stock rivet that holds the oem rear pads for aftermarket ones?

Default answer

There's a clip on the front pad which goes into the piston, holding it together. Probably to keep it from rattling.

The green thing on the rear pad is an anti-rattle spring, it doesn't come separately, it should be riveted to the pads.

Good replacements (Axxis, Hawk, Mintex, etc) have all the requisite parts.
