Brake pedal feels stiff after parked
You know how the pedal gets stiff when it is depressed a few times when the engine is off?
I started finding my brake pedal in that state after parking for about more than half an hour. The pedal feel becomes normal again as soon as I start the engine.
There are no warning lights or any changes in the braking ability of the car.
What problem is around the corner for me?

The brake booster is what makes the pedal feel "normal". The brake booster operates strictly by vacuum from a running engine.
When the engine shuts off, the brake booster stores a limited amount of vacuum, but once it bleeds off, the brake pedal becomes rock hard. Perfectly normal.

What Mike said BUT--- if the pedal is getting hard fairly soon after you turn off the engine, that probably means you have a vacuum leak in the brake booster or the check valve between it and the vacuum source (intake) I would suspect the check valve first. Cheap fix.
