Default It moves the caliper out. Therefore it changes it...

Applying a force at a greater distance, to a different sized rotor.

Stoptech said not to do it.

Default Issue with Porsches...

They were designed for PORSCHES. And Porsche master cyllinders, and porshe rear brakes, etc.

The boxster is a much lighter car than ours, and has a midengine layout. The 911 series are rear engined and are also still lighter I believe slightly.

Ya, you can bleed the system using the VAG. So. that's the hardest part?

Default Stoptech's instructions are great....

...I had replaced pads, calipers, and rotors on other vehicles before, so I was familiar with the basics. If you have the right tools and take your time following the instructions, it's easy. Don't necessarily need a VAG to bleed the brakes....you don't even really need a bleeder pump unless you're doing it w/o a helper.

You can d/l the Stoptech instructions from their website, if you want to see what you're getting into first.

BTW, don't bother with the rear SS lines...it's a PITA and you probably won't notice the difference anyway.

Default OK...................so tell me the differences that a master cylinder?

My TT brakes are designed for my car, correct? Then explain why the same brakes and the same master cylinder and the same ROTORS are on the GTIs and Jettas a crapload of other cars?

I think Brakes are designed for whatever whatever is a marketing hype. I been driving my AP brakes that was customized to fit on my car works perfectly and flawlessly. If you ever drove my car, you wouldn't even note the difference and if you did, it would probably be that it stops in a shorter distance.

Default You've got AP?

So not porsche... so what are you even going off about?

The parts on the TT do not exactly match every car you listed.. but that's okay. If you want to assume that.. fine.. but have a weak brake pedal because you use missized calipers.
