Default Brightest Fog Lamps

I'm pretty unhappy with the brilliance of my Fog lights. Is there a bulb out there that will make them bright enough to be useful?

Try the PIAA Super Plasmas, but they are 55W also. any brighter requires a re-wire for 100W lamps

Default Use existing wire to fog light to drive a relay coil. Relay contacts drive the socket...

One side of relay contact goes to fused 20A wire, right to the battery, for example.
Other side of relay contact goes to white fog wire, back of headlight.

Relay Coil

One side goes to ground.
Other side goes to wire in headlight harness that used to go to the fog light bulbs.

this way you can easily switch higher current to the existing fog light socket, without worrying if you will burn out any OEM switch or other wires. You do not stress any in-dash fuse or wires. You do need to add in some in-engine compartment wiring however.

simple.
