Well...my 13 month, 5 day odyssey ended today. I brought home my beautiful Amulet/Black 225Q Coupe w/ESP today. I simply can't believe that I actually own this car. I am simply blown away by how gorgeous and how fine a machine this is.
I am pleased to report for those of you still waiting to take delivery that Audi seems to have fixed the 3000 rpm hum/diverter valve problem. There is no engine hum in this car in any gear at any rpm.
For those of you attempting to correlate time in port with defects--mine was in the port (Houston) less than a week--maybe just a few days.
My dealer was also delivering a triple black 225 roadster today. My Amulet red coupe and the black 225 roadster made quite a beautiful couple.
Will post digital photos soon.

Congratulations, I know it's been a long wait for you. I wouldn't assume that Audi has got this bypass/diverter valve thing licked just yet. I've owned a 180 FWD drive coupe, and now, a 225q roadster that had the problem. In both cases, there was no problem, initially. However, over time, the symptoms worstened.
Hopefully, you will be the exception. Again, congrats!<p><img src="http://home.san.rr.com/winefinds/lemans.gif" border="0">
