I just test drove a TT 225 coupe and was kind of disappointed. I drove the S4 back to back and enjoyed it more. I really wanted to like the TT but visability was a lot worse than I had expected and the pick-up wasn't there like the s4. It's hurting me b/c the tt is just so nice to look at and sit in...(I wonder if porsches have same visability issues). Still undecided for now

everyone here will tell you to get the TT, everyone on the S4 and also the A4 forums will say the S4.

It sounds like your looking for performance. Are you planning to run it on the track?
If you like to AutoX, then the TT would take the S4 anyday.
The TT simply loves the twisties!
In a race track, the S4 would cream the TT. There is just too much rar power in the S4. But if your into stop light drags, 0-60, 1/4miles then I would suggest a Mustang Cobra/Camaro Z28. Cheaper AND faster than a S4. Who needs handling when you got so much rar power.![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
PS- The current S4 body is going to be changing in a couple of years and it will have a V8.

I test drove both (very hard, since the sales guy didn't come with me), and my take was: the S4 has more visceral acceleration (as well as four doors, etc.), and the TT has a crisper, gocart-like handling feel (as well as looks, etc.). Compared to the TT, the S4 feels a little ponderous in its handling. Compared to the S4, the TT feels a little soft in the kick-in-the-pants department. In the end, I decided on the TT (225q TTR), cause I like handling more than I like grunt (and I've always wanted a convertable).
Of course all bets are off once you start chipping and tweaking suspensions. Either can be made pretty darned fast and quite sweet handling...
