Jurgen, been a few weeks. Were you on vacation? I am awaiting the last piece of my TT puzzle! ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I have begun my GP1200 upgrades as well. I tested out the R&D Ride plate, all I can say is WOW! Smooth as butter across 18" chop. It rained today so I could not test the R&D Intake. I am hoping ot get out tomorrow morning before the rain begins. If not I will do my testing when I get back from The Glen.

My DV failed on my 2000 180Q at 10,000 miles. After 3 days on the replacement, so far so good. I waited about two weeks for the replacement part and another three weeks for a service appointment. I figure I drove about 5000 miles on the bad valve. Hope the turbo is OK.

I know I've mentioned this before, and at the risk of sounding like an a** (hey, I have a 225 TTQ on order), Audi doesn't urgently NEED to solve the problem:
1) When DVs go, they USUALLY don't take out the turbo. Despite fears here, I haven't seen a post here from someone who actually had their DV munch their turbo.
2) They are selling every TT they can crank out at or above MSRP, so dealers aren't complaining.
3) When you complain to service or AoA, Audi already has your money.
I suspect one way of getting their attention real quick might be if boatloads of people start lemon lawing their vehicles for the problem, but the "G" valve fixes things enough that its hard to get that four repairs done in that first year...
(Now I'm hoping AoA doesnt "flag" my vehicle for special damage in exchange for my rantings... ;-))

Larry, thanks for asking. I'm having a very busy time in my job right now
. I didn't ride my waverunner for 3 weeks although the weather is gorgeous here in the south.
Your parts, my base TT roof rack and bike rack are on the ship - finally. Sorry for the delay, but it was out of my control. Did you receive the other mirror? I sent it about 3 weeks ago.

Thanks to all of you at the TT forum; this place has the best updates around on this problem. I'm not buying the Passat (44k miles on it) until the dealer fixes the noise. Of course, like many of you, I had to show him posts from audiworld to help him figure it out.
Parts are back-ordered right now, I should know in a week if the car is fixed.

I notice the performance suffers with humming valve, so there must be some connection, whether it is damaging I don'tknow.
