Default Basically an easy install...that is if you have all the tools ready.

First thing I recommend is getting a real good set of C-Clamps. You are going to install the bar over the rear twist beam. Follow the Neuspeed instructions. They are somewhat vague, but the basics are explained. What I can really stress here is the amount of force it takes to get the two little clips up and around the flange of the twist beam. There is now way you can install the bar without a set of C Clamps...period! As a matter of fact, I had such a hard time installing the bar that I ended ups shaving just a smidge off the bushings in order to get the clips up and over the twist beam flange. You need to use a lof of force! Have your car properly jacked up and secure it, and double check your safety points. You need to position the C-Clamps such that thy are held firmly on the "v" end of the clip. Use the leverage of the C Clamp to rotate the clip toward the flange of the beam and up and around so it is seated. Use the bolt holes on the twist beam. The screws essentially act as stop for the clips so they hold the bar firmly in place and so the clips cannot break loose. Put the setting on the bar at full soft to start. You can always increase tension. I would use a little caution with going full firm being you have DEFCON's on your car now. You don't want the back to whip around. All in all it is a straightforward installation. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Default I've done this on numerous VW's and it's relatively easy.....

Set the bar in the middle - it's fine. Use antiseize on all the links. Grease the poly bush's liberally and then some. Other than that - you should have it done in less than an hour.
