No, but how believeable is it that your battery dies every time you take it to the dealer.

Default the workshop code/dealer code thingy

They may notice that its different - I think for my TT it ended up being the zip code for Danbury, CT where I bought it - so I just changed the code on the chipped ECU as well - so with APR just throw it in stock mode and you don't even need to switch if the workshop code matches...
Also - I dont think clearing DTCs is a violation of the warranty - you could always do it the old fashioned way and start you car 50 times to clear it...
