Can DSG handle Turbo Charged ...

Actually that would be the DL1,200.
The Veyron has a longitudinally mounted engine (in this case, a twin turbo 8L W16) producing 1,000 hp and 987 lbs/ft of torque. I know this about the Veyron's DSG because it is a 7 speed unit. All transverse DSGs (designated DQ) are 6 speeds. All longitudinal DSGs (designated DL) are 7 speeds. Currently the DL1,200 is the only 7 speed (and only longitudinal) DSG in existence. The new S6, RS 6, S8, RS 9 or RS R (whatever the high performance A9 (production name for LeMans) is called), the W12 version of the A8/A8L and V10 version of the Q7 (possibly called QS7) as well as the S7 and RS 7 (that is if the A7 is ever built) will also have the DL1,200, though the new S6 and S8 will have a special 6 speed tiptronic (I believe the AL810) for their first year (which is supposed to be MY2007). For MY2008, Audi and Porsche will in fact replace their tiptronic transmissions with DSG transmissions throughout the lineup for MY2008. I read this a while back in AutoBild. Unfortunately, I do not have the link for this article in AutoBild. AutoBild is one of the most reliable automotive sources when it comes to information regarding future German vehicles. No surprise, give the fact than AutoBild is a German automotive source. So I don't doubt them on this one. FWIW, plans for an A7 coupe and convertible have been canned for the time being. There is a distinct possibility that the A7 may be built is the somewhat far future (probably early next decade), most likely on the C7 platform that the next A6 will be on come mid or late CY2011 for MY2012

I know it doesn't belong here, but isn't the 225hp TT the most hp/L not S2000-TT-125hp | S2000-120hp
