Can someone explain what happened here?
It's raining really nicely here in SoCal. I had just turned onto a road and was accelerating, and towards the side, almost in the middle was this very long puddle of pretty deep water. The right side of my car rode over for a couple seconds and water splashed on the side pretty high. Sounds pretty innocuous right? I see people doing it all the time.
But when I pulled up to the stoplight, I noticed what looked like steam puffing out of the right side of my hood, right next to where the dash is (next to the wiper blades). It looked like steam was just rising, and it was like that for about half a minute and then went away. Can anyone explain that? Did the water hurt something in there? Or was it just the water boiling off?

You have a steam powered TT, very rare actually...
LOL, What probablly happened id the water was sprayed up on to the turbo inlet pipe and was boiled off and vented through the part you described. No harm - no foul ;-)
