Can you bleed the brakes by yourself? Or do you need someone to help you?

...get one of those plastic vacuum pumps at pep boys....they come with a variety of fittings....then you can do it yourself. Just make sure to check the fluid reservoir frequently and add fluid before it sucks air. The Bentley method works, but you need another person to do it. Just get a bleeder pump, they're cheap.
Even if you replace just one caliper, you have to bleed the entire system. Start farthest from the MC and move towards it, i.e. RR>>LR>>RF>>LF.

My brakes squeak a little bit. I was just going to change the pads to mintex and not resurface rotors or bleed the system. Is this okay?

...it might at first, but Mintex will squeak eventually, trust me. Just be careful to follow the usual bedding procedure after you install the new pads.

For this. Usually a good cleaning will work, but if you're putting new pads on, bevel the leading and trailing edges with a file and use Disk Brake quiet (or even plain silicone seal) on the pads where it touches the pistons. Mintex pads already have anti-squeal backings on them. 18K miles on mine and quiet as a mouse...

On the manuals for the big front brake upgrades, they say to do passenger "inner bleeder screw" then "outer bleeder" then driver inner and outer. It sounds like they are talking about just the fronts? Are there 2 bleeder screws fro each?

I previously had done the 2 person deal where one pumps and the other works the bleed valve and checks on reservoir.
If my son and I could not get coordinated on this I would end up with a pedal that was not firm at the top.
A couple folks directed me to the hand pump contraption at Griots. It works great. Takes about an hour per car.
I start at the rear right, then rear left, front right, and then front left. It will take 3-4 bottles per car, so have plenty on hand. It depends on the size of the car you are doing and brake calipers.
I also recommend Motul 600 fluid for the TT if you drive it really hard.

http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=85700</a
