Default Can you please list any problems you have with your TT ...

whether it current or previous.

The only problem I have with my TT at the moment is the squeaky drivers seat, but I wanted to see what other problems were prevalent out there.

I am aware of some the electronic problems, and grinding of the 1st and 2nd gears in the FWD cars.

Thanks.

Central lock/unlock switch doesn't always unlock the doors...have to do so manually.

Default I can't afford the flight back to the UK, and am unable to induce the TT to "take off" as has been..

documented.

So much for cheap flights.

Default Privacy screen rattle, driver's seat squeak, driver's side window motor replaced, and...

intermittently, key removal from ignition does not disengage properly, and key must be reinserted and removed again to allow proper use of remote locking. Also date has reset to original date twice by itself, but not recently.

Default Seat heater switches don't function right

This has been discussed a lot before, with some argument about how they are supposed to function, but one of mine doesn't work right (it's just a question of which one): passenger side comes on and off with the ignition if you leave it on, driver side must be reset if ignition is switched on and off.

Also, faint morse code sounds in between tracks on the CD player.

That's my list of things to have fixed at the 5K service.

Default PaTT, you might want to call the dealer now.

First, you're going to have to convince the dealer that the driver side switch is broken. If they tell you it's supposed to work that way, tell them to call their Audi tech hotline and ask about it.

Second, Audi tech will tell them to replace the switch. They probably won't have one in stock, will need to order it.

I waited 'till 5k, and now I'm waiting for the switch, so it'll probably be 80* out when it gets fixed!
