The fog light switch is ignored and the indicator for the fog lights is always green.
Rattle in Drivers seat belt mechanism (sometimes, especially over bumps)
AM (Bose) radio sensitivity very poor, radio high pitched whine even is strong radio reception area.
But that it at 2100 miles. Since they are not real problems, I' wait until the 5000 mile service.

Frankly, I was worried about the reliability of a car with so many integrated, computerized, electrical features, and I'm getting more worried. When the windshield wipers got weird on my way home tonight, I had the unpleasant thought that maybe I should sell this thing before the world discovers that the TT is not a very high quality car.
1. One xenon headlight died
2. Engine whine and tinkling sounds while CDs are playing on Bose
3. One instrument cluster lockup (did the old fuse 11 and 15 reset)
4. Radio/CD player station and track info displays only for a few seconds. This condition comes and goes
5. Rattles from tops of Windows
6. Rattles from inside dash
7. Very noticeable buzz when headlights are on and dash dimmer is anything but full blast
8. Interval wipers get out of wack and stop mid-stroke
9. Very streaky wipers
10. Shifter occassionally balky going into 1st and 2nd. Very stiff if it's below 40 degrees.
11. Seat warmers have to be reset every time the car is started
12. One of the seat warmer switches has a bad (intermittent) LED
Damn, it's depressing writing these down.

<center><img src="http://131.107.68.28/AudiWorldPics/2000/Driver%20Side%203-4-00.JPG"></center><p>I thought I was in for a run of electrical problems. But this one cleared up.
DOME LIGHT: I got in the car this week and drove off. The dome light stayed lit. I tried stopping the car and opening and closing both doors. No luck. I was able to turn it off using the switch. I drove back to the office. Parked and locked/alarmed the car. The dome light stayed on. I turned it off manually. Went home that night and the dome light behave normally, almost. It faded in and out like one would expect, however only two of the three lights would turn on (the one on the drivers side stayed out). Note: all three of the lights would come on if I turned the switch to the on position. If I just used the map light switch on the drivers side the light came on. Here is the really weird part, after a 200 mile road trip on Friday the dome light is back to normal.
PAINT ON THE SIDE VIEW MIRRORS: The paint is chipping (flaking?) off on the front of the side view mirrors. Looks kinda strange, beautiful red with silver dots. Not a good day for picture taking but some of the chips are pretty obvious.
SEAT HEATERS: Yup, I have that problem.
