Default Janet, have your dealer call mine and they will give the fix for you

My dealer is:

Porsche+Audi of Wallingford, CT

Ask for the Service Mgr Paul. He will remember, just have them mention the problem and that Larry with the NY TT had the problem and they fixed it for me.

Check the fuse. Mine did that once, and I pushed the fuse in, and ta-da!

Default A few problems, nothing too serious

1. The lights/door lock problem - it was fixed
2. One remote fell apart and was replaced, it was actually my backup and was never used.
3. My fuel gauge acted weird for 3 tanks and fixed itself! It showed FULL until the warning light would come on that I am close to empty. Pretty weird/annoying.
4. The car needs an alignment since day one. it pulls slightly to the left and the wheel need to be strightened. not a big problem.
5. Bose stereo sucks, oh that's right I got my custom stereo and it NOW ROCKS!
6. I don't have the trip computer, but what I do have does NOT always work. I am supposed to press the left silver button under the tach and get something like an engine diagnostic check through. It rarely works. It is pretty stupid that it is even included anyway.

I am extremely thrilled with the car! This one is a KEEPER!

Right after delivery in November I asked this forum if long term parking (five days) with the alarm activated would affect battery life. The response was everything from ten days/no problem, to two days/dead battery. I just spent five days in Colorado and returned to find the alarm lights flashing merrily, but not enough power left to start the car. I've left my 92 Lexus alarmed for two weeks, with no problems. The good news is that it totally fixed the problem I had with the tach. At 2k miles it went belly up and Ruznak ordered a new cluster. Whatever the problem was, the dead battery fixed it. One would think that the dealer would have know of this fix.

Default Re: Just a couple weird ones.

I got the same problem with the dome lights. Let us know if you find a cure.

Cheers.

- Leak in headlight washer system (driver side). If you wash the windows
with the headlights on, you get one big puddle on the ground, and
an empty washer fluid tank. Started at around 500 miles.
- Vibration at fast idle (11-12K RPM). Just started a few days ago, the
whole car seems to vibrate slightly, and is a little loud. Started at about
1400 miles.
- CD noise mentioned by a few others - bad throttle body? Started at
0 miles.
- Heater fan noise when at 2 or three bars. Sounds like a bad bearing
or similar on the heater fan. Started at 0 miles.
